24-year-old Tibetan nun is reported to have died shortly after leaving custody on medical parole. The cause of her death on 20 February 1995 is unknown, but she was reportedly ill-treated in detention, held in poor conditions and was recently diagnosed as suffering from severe kidney complaint.
