On 20 October, the Darlag County police arbitrarily detained eight Tibetans from Gyime Township in Darlag County, Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, on charges of "creating a criminal organisation," "picking quarrels and provoking trouble," and "extortion and blackmail." These allegations were simply levied against them for collecting donations for religious offerings.
