Rachung Gendun and Sonam Gyatso, from kirti monastery, Ngaba County were sentenced to three years and two years in November 2022 respectively, for sending donations to Tibet’s foremost spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and Kirti Rinpoche, both living in exile.
